Several Snek!

A NEW COAT OF PAINT ON A CLASSIC GAME!

Several Snek! is a remake of the classic Snake games that I did as a fun project! Along with your snake, called a snek in this game, all of the classic rules apply! You can't hit yourself or you die! Eating apples will increase the length of your snek by one!  Along with these and depending on how you want to play, you can also enable/disable classic features such as map wrapping (where you go off one side of the map and appear on the opposite side) for a more or less challenging experience!

Along with the classic snake experience, more fun features have been added!

PLAY AGAINST YOUR FRIENDS OR RANDOM PEOPLE!

Experience the chaos of Snake with up to three other players! Out maneuver your opponents and collect powerups to gain special abilities and sabotage other players, giving you the ultimate advantage within four different unique game modes, each with their own challenges! If you want to increase the difficulty even more, you can even have obstacles spawn around the map!

*NOTE: At this time, it is not possible to play the game in singleplayer! This is something that I might add in the future, but almost all of the new features, such as powerups, would become useless without other players!

FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE EXPERIENCE!

You have the ability to change many of the game options to tailor your experience!

• Set the max number of apples that can be on the map at a time!
• Enable/disable whether powerups are spawned during games!
• Set the max number of powerups that can be on the map at a time!
• Enable/disable random obstacles for a much more challenging experience!
• Enable/disable map wrapping! (where you go off one side of the map and appear on the opposite side)
• Enable/disable starving sneks! If you do not eat an apple for long enough, your snek will begin to shrink and, eventually, die!

COLORED SNEKS!

Each player will be able to choose their own unique color from a select amount of colors! You will always be able to tell whose snek is chasing you down!

OBSTACLES!

Challenge your sneks and create even more havoc by adding random obstacles that you must avoid to the map!

FOUR DIFFERENT GAME MODES!

Play from a selection of four different game modes, all with their own unique play styles and win conditions!

- LAST SNEK SLITHERING -

Fight against the other sneks to grow larger and become the last snek alive to win!

- BIGGEST, BADDEST SNEK -

Become the largest snek, while sabotaging other sneks, by the end of the time limit to win!

- SNEK EXTERMINATOR -

Be the snek with the most kills at the end of the game to win!

- KING OF THE SNEKS -

Be the Snek with the most land at the end of the game! If you die, you lose all your land!

*POTENTIALLY MORE IN THE FUTURE!

USE POWERUPS FOR A MORE CHAOTIC EXPERIENCE!

Multiple different powerups, with their own unique effects have been added to the game! If enabled, they will spawn randomly alongside apples! When selected, a special, temporary effect will be applied to your snek, allowing you to avoid attacks, perform ranged attacks, split other sneks, etc.!

	GOLDEN APPLE	When eaten, the Golden Apple gains you five additional segments, instead of one!
	ROTTEN APPLE	When eaten, the Rotten Apple removed five segments from your snek!
	DARTS	Fire darts at opposing sneks! If you hit their tail, it will be cut off at that point! If you hit their head, they will be killed!
	INVINCIBILITY	Your snek becomes completely invincible for a small amount of time! While invincible, you can still eat food and collect other powerups!
	IRON SCALES	Your snek can't be killed by other sneks  for a short amount of time, but can still die other ways and kill other sneks! If you run into another snek's tail, it will cut off their tail at that point!
	SLOW SNEKS	Your snek will move at half the speed for a small amount of time! *When collecting this powerup, it is applied to all other sneks, meaning everyone EXCEPT you!
	SPEED BOOST	Your snek will move at 2X the speed for a short amount of time!
